Since then Bose removed features from the QC Ultra headphones via an automated cloud firmware update with no rollback option.
Loved the xm6. Fabulous sound with some music and when I eq’d it, even better. Loved the case too. Really didn’t like the ‘elephant grey’ colour, but this colour is better than black for finger prints. Found i did have to clean the ear pads each time, (just a little rub free of any skin oil). Loved the movie setting. Unfortunately, the clamping that goes upwards on the ear cups gave me such bad neck pain, i had to send it back. I’m now really struggling to choose another set that are even close(no i didn’t like the look but i didn’t really care once I had them on. )
If you get tight muscles in your traps and /or sternocleidomastoids, you may want to try something else. But oh I wish I could have kept these😢
I just bought the xm6 for $250, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It perfectly fits my needs. Comfortable to wear, lightweight, excellent ANC, good mic, handy case, equalizer settings. The only thing I don’t like is the material that easily leaves oil marks. But that’s not a problem because the benefits I get far outweigh it.
